The Spy is a non-combat unit in Civilization Revolution.

Strategy[]

A Spy can only engage in combat against another Spy. It can be captured without declaring war and has many abilities. It can disrupt the fortifications of a city, demolish a building, steal a Great Person, steal gold, or disrupt production. Spy movement is not detected by other civilizations.

Trivia[]

  • If a civilization attempts to capture an enemy Spy that is on the same tile as a Bomber or Fighter (but not on the same tile as any ground units), both the Spy and the air unit are captured. The captured air unit can be used normally, even if the technology required to build it is not yet unlocked.
