Great Prophets[]
It's not mentioned in the patch notes for 1.0.3.276, but it looks like the extra Great Prophet usage from the mosque has been removed. Can anyone confirm? I'm currently playing Theodora, if it makes a difference. – Robin Hood (talk) 05:22, December 1, 2014 (UTC)
- Actually, it seems to only apply to pre-industrial Great Prophets. After hitting the Industrial age, they gain their usual 5 spreads of religion. I think I'd just forgotten that it worked that way. – Robin Hood (talk) 19:02, December 1, 2014 (UTC)
It's not mentioned here, but with Great Mosque of Djenne and being able to spread religion 5 times, you can use Great Prophet to spread it once and ONLY THEN go build the Holy Site. Normally you need "all 4" remaining uses of "Spread Religion" to make a Holy Site, i.e. you can't use Prophet for spreading it, but with Great Mosque of Djenne you can actually spread it once, then go back and fund the Holy Site :)
Not sure how to check the game version, but it works in current version, as of 6-th November 2021, as I even tested it today to be sure that it still works :-)
