I exported the old page history and all 46.1 MB. When I tried to import it though, I got the message it was larger than the maximum size. Not sure how to just grab part of it. Anyway, I went and just clicked the option to upload the current page only. This comes from the Wikipedia of course. Wikipedia:Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri Dream Focus 14:10, June 7, 2010 (UTC)

Reasons for me creating this wikiaEdit

I was surprised when I looked around, that this place didn't exist yet. So I willed it into existence, that quite easy to do with Wikia. Never hesitate to say what's on your mind, and edit as you feel appropriate. Dream Focus 12:19, June 7, 2010 (UTC)

Other Wikis already exist Edit

I see that other Wikis exist on various fan sites, although none of them seem complete, it mostly just game guides. So having something here anyone can edit makes sense. Dream Focus 14:41, June 7, 2010 (UTC)

Doesn't Wikiquotes violated copyright law? Edit I'd transwiki that information over here, but I think it violates copyright law. People buy this game for the incredible story not just the good game play. Dream Focus 14:05, June 8, 2010 (UTC)

Information Edit

I don't see any reason to list information which anyone who owns a legal copy of the game, would find in their manual, unless it can be presented in an easier to read format, or it would help inform anyone who doesn't own the game what its all about so they can decide whether they want to go and try the demo then buy a legal copy. You can now get the game plus the expansion pack for only $16! [1] And people still play it today. I know I do. And so people on a forum I sometimes visit. Dream Focus 08:23, October 19, 2010 (UTC)

FYI this game is also available digitally at

  • And only $2.99 with the expansion pack now included. Dream Focus 00:38, December 16, 2013 (UTC)

mindworms and mind worms Edit

In the manual that comes with the game it calls them mind worms. In quotes in the game, and in an officially published book, it calls them mindworms. I started changing it to what was in the manual, but then realized its used the other way too in the game, so whatever. Either way is fine. Dream Focus 10:07, September 19, 2014 (UTC)
