Movement[]

Can I just move the Trader around normally like other units? I am playing as Cree.Higakoryu (talk) 23:52, June 12, 2018 (UTC)

No. When a Trader isn't following a route, you can move it between cities you own, but it moves instantly. Once given a route, the Trader follows it automatically with no input needed on your part. -Mythril Wyrm (talk) 04:13, June 13, 2018 (UTC)

So what is the point of Nihithaw then?42.114.33.202 14:11, June 15, 2018 (UTC)

Once a Trader is given a route, it moves automatically. If it moves over any tiles within 3 spaces of a Cree city, they fall under Cree control. -Mythril Wyrm (talk) 14:30, June 15, 2018 (UTC)
When you say "within 3 tiles of a city" , do I need to be within 3 tiles of a City Center, or just a tile? Also, what is the range of Defender of the Faith?

Yes, "within 3 tiles of a city" means "within 3 tiles of a City Center." As for Defender of the Faith, I believe it affects all tiles that belong to a city following the religion that adopted this belief. -Mythril Wyrm (talk) 02:24, June 16, 2018 (UTC)

Stuck trader bug[]

This bug definitely still exists — the reason I added it to the article was because I hit it myself after loading an old 2018 R&F save into current GS. I can upload the save if necessary. - Linneris (talk) 07:38, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
