Back to the list of improvements
The Tipi is a unique improvement from the Conquest of the New World Deluxe scenario in Civilization V.
Game Info[]
Unique improvement of the Shoshone. Only a Worker may build it.
Strategy[]
The Tipi allows the Shoshone to rapidly increase the Population of their cities and expedite their religious development. It can only be built on a flat plains tile (even if it has a feature) not adjacent to another Tipi.
Civilopedia entry[]
A tipi (or teepee) is a portable, conical tent constructed of tanned hides and wooden poles traditionally associated with the migratory North American Plains Indians. The word itself comes from the Lakota for "they dwell." Often elaborately painted, tipis not only sheltered the Shoshone but served to identify the separate tribes.
