The Troop Ship is a unit in Civilization: Call to Power.
Summary[]
The Troop Ship provides a fast, effective way of ferrying troops over seas. Although the ship has carrying capacity of up to five units, it cannot be used for attack; arms and armor must be forgone for speed.
Great Library entry[]
The development of mass production opened the door to mass produced transportation. Besides ushering in the era of the automobile, mass production allowed for the creation of the Liberty Ships of WWII. Built to survive for only a few voyages, the Liberty Ships carried men and materials from the factories of America to the besieged shores of Europe, helping to win WWII.
