Unciv

Unciv, also written as UnCiv, is an open-source 2D recreation of Civilization V for the Android operating system and desktop.

As of April 2020, version 3.6.15, the game is in active development and can be completed: the science victory, cultural victory and domination victory can be achieved. The game is still missing some civilizations, units and buildings, and the graphics are quite plain, resembling the strategic view of the original game, although a new pixel-art tileset has been added in to make it look pleasant.

Version 3.5.0 (January 2020) adds mod support for desktop, although limited, since it does not add code support yet, it only adds/replaces images and definitions. Version 3.5.12 adds mod support for Android.
