Uruk, also known as Erech, is the Sumerian capital in some of the Civilization games and an Assyrian, Babylonian, and Sumerian city in others, the Call to Power games, and C-evo. In real life, it was an ancient city located east of the bed of the Euphrates river in present-day Iraq.
