A Warrior is the most primitive and weakest melee unit found in many of the Civilization games. In all, it is one of the few units that are available from the beginning, as it doesn't need any specific technology.

The close equivalent in Civ is the Militia, which costs 10 shields and has attack and defence strength 1 and movement 1. It is the default offered for building when a new city is built and no stronger defensive unit is available.
Civilization II
Requires Nothing; A/D/M/H 1/1/1/1; Cost 10, Feudalism Obsoletes. Leonardo's Workshop upgrades it to Musketeers.
Civilization III
Requires Nothing, No Resource; Template:Adm; Cost 10, upgrades to Swordsman
- Aztec unique unit Jaguar Warrior Replaces.
- If you are the Persians Or Romans the Warrior will not upgrade due to the nations' unique units the Immortal and the Legionary.
- In Civilization III Conquests, the Sumerian unique unit Enkidu Warrior replaces.
Civilization IV
Requires nothing; S/M 2/1; Cost 15. 25% City Defence Bonus. Upgrades to Axeman or Spearman.
