The World's Fair is a Modern Age wonder in Civilization VII. It is unlocked after completing the Geographic Society legacy path.

Strategy[]

The World's Fair may be built upon obtaining and displaying 15 Artifacts in your empire, the fulfillment of the Cultural legacy path in the Modern Age. It has a high Production Production cost, appropriately so since constructing it will win the game. Players going for a Cultural Victory will want to make preparations to centralize as much Production Production as possible in the City City that will build the World's Fair. This will include as large a population as possible to work tiles and every possible warehouse and Modern Age building that grants Production Production. Culture Culture-oriented social policies and governments will also help, though Culture Culture will eventually become a redundant yield since a player only needs to discover Hegemony to acquire the requisite number of Artifacts.

If a player can successfully obtain the necessary Artifacts from a high Culture Culture output and benefits from previous Ages, it may be best to focus on Production Production-oriented social policies and governments as soon as possible. For example, a player who selects Fascism as their Ideology can receive 3 Production Production per Specialist, which can lead to a massive Production Production boost throughout their empire (especially to the City City building the World's Fair). Most AI leaders, especially on higher difficulty levels, will become more aggressive once the player begins constructing the World's Fair, so a final consideration includes a defensible location with a strong military presence to protect it while it is under construction.
