The Allies are a playable faction in World War II, a scenario in Civilization II. The are led by Winston Churchill and are under the government Democracy.

Allies Strategy[]
Initial loses[]
The Allies start second after the Axis. The civilization will, depending on the difficulty setting, may lose the Armour and other units on the European mainland. If not, you should evacuate the remainder via transport just like the Battle of Dunkirk. In the North Atlantic, Axis U-Boats will attack your cruiser, destroyers and transports near New York and Washington DC. On the North African front, Axis Armor will attack Alexandria. The French, will suffer great loses losing Paris and thus the Eiffel Tower. The French will lose more cities depending on the difficulty setting. The Neutrals will likely lose Amsterdam within the first or second moves.
Fighting Back[]
Battle of Britain[]
Depending on your difficulty settings, the Axis will definitely attack your cities and units on the British Isles. They won't create much damage or destroy many units. Move the Rifleman outside your cities into the coastal cities, ie Southampton and London. The Axis Fleet may bombard your cities but most have Coastal Fortress so they will add strong defensive power.
North Africa[]
The Axis will attempt to attack to attack Alexandria and the player should defend it well given the number of key wonders it has such as the Pyramids. Once the Axis Armor is defeated, the player should attack back. Take the cities Tripoli and Tobruk. Rebuilt forces from your Arabian cities such as Jerusalem and Suez. Use your given naval units to deter or destroy Axis ships.
