The XCOM Squad is a new non-unique unit that will be introduced in Civilization V: Brave New World. It has the
ability to be dropped 40 tiles away. It upgrades from the Paratrooper. The unit is a reference to the videogame XCOM: Enemy Unknown, which was also developed by Firaxis.
