York, also known by its historical names of Everwyk, Jórvík, Eoforwic, Eboracum, or Eburacum, is a British, Celtic, English, Norman, Roman, and Viking city in the Civilization and Call to Power games and C-evo, and also appears as a city-state. In real life, it refers to the following places:

  • York, England is a cathedral city in North Yorkshire in present-day England, with Roman origins, sited at the confluence of the rivers Ouse and Foss.
  • York, Western Australia is the oldest inland town in the state of Western Australia in present-day Australia, situated on the Avon River.

In scenarios, it may appear as an Anglo-Saxon city in 1066: Year of Viking Destiny, a Western Australian city in Outback Tycoon, and a Western Roman city in Fall of Rome.
